i walked away from someone i truly loved. someone i still love. someone i would have burned myself down to keep her warm.
i don't know when she'll find this. but i know she will. she knows this place exists. and when she does find it, i hope she feels what i couldn't always say out loud. i hope it reaches her the way i always intended to.
these essays are written for her. in the shadows, the only way i know how to show up right now.
but since you're here, whoever you are, i hope you find something in these words too. something that makes you feel a little less alone in whatever you're carrying.
isn't this too personal for a public site? maybe. but things like these are more common than we let on. heartbreak, love, loss, the quiet weight of caring for someone you can no longer hold. we all know this feeling. we just don't talk about it.
i believe that when we show up authentically, we show up better. for our family, our friends, our clients, the stranger who stumbles onto this page at 2am. realness is a connective tissue. it's what makes people trust you, feel seen by you, want to be around you.
this is me. all of it.
welcome to "her".
